I’ve got something fun to share! I’ve been making gift tags for a famous bakery!!! Pretty SWEET, huh? The name of this fabulous bakery is “Urban Cookies” and “OllieCake” and they are out of Phoenix AZ. If you live in Phoenix you’re one lucky dog and need to go visit them! They’re a “family owned and operated gourmet bake shop specializing in made-from-scratch cookies and cupcakes created with local and organic ingredients.” Did they say “organic”?! Be-still-my-heart! =)
Oh, I almost forgot, they are famous because they are the 2011 winners of “Cupcake Wars” on the “Food Network“!!! How cool! {You can find the whole scoop HERE} So you can imagine my excitement when they contacted me to make my hand stamped gift tags to use for their packaging. Regardless if they’d ever won a t.v. show though, I’d be just as thrilled to make my tags for a bakery!
I jumped up and down when I saw MY tags in a picture on their website! It’s kinda like being published, right? Hehe.
And then they sent me these BEAUTIFUL pictures of my tags and their absolutely delicious looking cupcakes to share with y’all!
I made “Thank You” tags in honor of “Administrative Professionals Week” and then graduation cap tags for all the graduations going on this month…
And of course I made some for “Mother’s Day” which I was just thrilled to see on their website again!
Oh my goodness look at those beautiful cupcakes! Are you drooling yet? I am!

This experience has also been a great lesson in what a fantastic tool Etsy is for being “discovered“. You never know who might find you!
So if you’re also a “handmader” don’t get discouraged! You never know what’s right around the corner. =)
